Calling all fans of Banjo-Kazooie, Conker: Live & Reloaded, Kameo, and anyone else who’s up for a cute-as-heck 3D platformer! From our new publishing initiative, Presented by Humble Bundle, we’re excited to announce our partnership with Gears for Breakfast to bring you A Hat in Time to Xbox One this Fall, priced at $29.99.

In A Hat in Time, you play as a space-travelling girl with a big top hat. While minding her bees’ wax, an accident causes all her fuel, the Time Pieces, to scatter across a nearby planet. Hat Kid must now jump, fight, and stitch new hats down below to fuel her ride back home.

From the first “boop!” Hat Kid utters, your heart will smile in this brilliantly scripted and professionally voice-acted adventure. You can expect adorable interactions with the friendly folks at Mafia Town, silly banter from Mustache Girl, and more. Some locals will also offer you badges to power up the hats you stitch, making you more powerful and 50 shades cuter than before!

The hats themselves have game-changing abilities that just beg you to revisit levels and to reach places you could not before. The abilities include a witch hat which allows her to brew explosive potions, a wooden ghost mask that allows her to peek into other dimensions, and a speedy hat to help you become the fastest speedrunner in the world. Speedruners and novices alike will have several abilities to exploit Hat Kid at the start of the game, too. She’ll be able to climb, wall jump, double-jump, air dash, and more.

As this is Humble’s first Xbox One release, we have partnered with the wonderful folks at Hardsuit Labs (who worked on bringing Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Shadow Complex: Remastered, Smite, and Bioshock: The Collection to Xbox One) to ensure you have a top-quality experience!

A Hat in Time is a true labor of love from all of us. We look forward to telling you more about this cute-as-heck 3D platformer as we approach our fall release.
