Super Lucky’s Tale will be Extra Super at PAX West

Who’s going to PAX? Lucky is!

If you’re going to PAX West in Seattle this weekend and have been hoping to play Super Lucky’s Tale, you’re in for a treat! While it isn’t the first event this summer featuring a playable demo of our charming platform game for the Xbox One family of devices, it’s set to be the most memorable experience yet.

That’s because everyone who comes to play Super Lucky’s Tale at the Xbox booth (4th floor, North Hall) will get a special coin that operates a fantastic claw machine of prizes! There’s all sorts of wonderful things inside, including Lucky plushies, pins, shirts, capes, Lucky-themed Design Lab controllers, even Lucky-branded Converse shoes! You’ll never take an unlucky step wearing those. The best part is every prize is encased in clear plastic spheres, making them easier to grab than the standard supermarket claw machines set to impossible mode.

Also making a daily appearance will be Lucky himself! He’s super friendly and will never turn down a chance to pose with fans for photos. He’s looking forward to meeting you all (and, rumor has it, playing some Forza Motorsport 7, Cuphead and Sea of Thieves).

This is all in addition to the actual game itself, which looks amazing in true 4K resolution on Xbox One X – not even a fraction of upscaling – and runs smooth as silk at 60 frames a second. A delightful combination of family-friendly adventure and challenging platform action, Super Lucky’s Tale is a modern take on the classic platforming games we at Playful grew up with and decided the world needed more of. Speaking of which, we absolutely cannot wait to see everyone’s reaction to the game when it launches alongside the Xbox One X on November 7, 2017!

We hope to see you at PAX West and are looking forward to your Lucky selfies and claw machine videos on social media (hashtag #SuperLuckysTale FTW). And for those of you who can’t come, we’ll share photos and videos of our own on Twitter and Facebook, so give us a follow!
