Today, Rockstar Games announced a new version of the blockbuster detective thriller L.A. Noire, coming to the Xbox One family of devices on November 14.

Set against the seedy and violent underbelly of 1940s Los Angeles, L.A. Noire is the story of decorated war veteran and newly minted detective Cole Phelps as he investigates an escalating series of cases inspired by real-world crimes. Each successfully solved case brings Phelps greater success, but also closer to the dark criminal heart of post-war L.A.

L.A. Noire for Xbox One comes with new bonus content and looks better than ever with an array of enhancements including updated weather, smog and lighting effects for a more realistic Los Angeles. Plus, real-time reflections on vehicle surfaces and new chrome and dirt effects to create a wider range of vehicles. Players can also discover new collectible hidden Novel Covers and Golden Vinyl records scattered throughout the world and complete objectives to unlock four new suits, each with unique special abilities.

L.A. Noire for Xbox One delivers the complete original game and all additional downloadable content with a range of technical enhancements, including high resolution textures and more, and will play natively in 1080p on Xbox One and in stunning 4K for Xbox One X. Thanks to these advances in visual fidelity, L.A. Noire on Xbox One will capture the grit and grime of the City of Angels like never before.
