Take the Sway your Microsoft Ignite Experience Challenge!
Microsoft Ignite kicks off on September 25th in Orlando this year. If you’re planning to attend the event, try your luck in the Microsoft Sway sweepstakes. To participate, share your experience at Microsoft Ignite using Microsoft Sway for a chance to win a $50 Visa gift card and a team shirt from the Sway team. Sway gives you a fun, quick, and engaging way to share your experience at Microsoft Ignite with your colleagues back home.
Get started
- Go to sway.com
- Use your existing Office 365 Organization Account or your Microsoft Account to sign in.
If you don't currently have an account, create a new Microsoft Account by following the steps on the website when you click Sign In.
- Create a new Sway to capture your favorite moments at Microsoft Ignite.
Optional Ideas
Here are some things to write about and content to add to make your Sway awesome:
A. Keynote Key Takeaways
What announcement(s) in the keynote excited you the most?
B. Best Sessions
What is your favorite session(s) from the week?
C. Hands-on Time with Products
Did you go to the Hands-on Lab? What product did you have the most fun exploring?
D. Photo Time
Post your favorite trip photos or videos of your experience.
Bonus tip: If you have an iOS device, try out the Sway iOS app to make adding media from your phone directly into Sway easier.
E. Expo
What product or theater session from the Expo would you recommend to your colleagues?
F. Microsoft Ignite Celebration
No Microsoft event is complete without a special party on the last night! Share any photos, videos or fun moments from the celebration.
Bonus tip: Try using the stack or slideshow groups to add more interactivity to your Sway.

To make your Sway pop, consider adding…
- Embed tweets of the Microsoft Ignite event
- Use Remix to try out different styles and layouts
- Add background images to headings in your Sway
- Use emphasis to mark important photos or videos
Note: If you are using your Office 365 Organization Account, make sure to change the Share setting of your Sway to Anyone with a link.
