Get ready, MVPs and RDs! We’re less than one week away from the most amazing, exciting, and inspirational MVP Global Summit yet. The 2018 Summit will take place March 4-7 at the Microsoft headquarters in Bellevue and Redmond, Washington - and while every Summit gives our community the chance to shine, this one holds a special significance. We’re celebrating 25 years of the MVP Award Program!

More than 2,000 MVPs and RDs will come together to network, exchange solutions, connect with our product groups and provide valuable feedback on Microsoft technologies.

It’s going to be a global group, too. This year, we have attendees traveling from an incredible 80+ countriesit's almost a dozen more than the previous Summit. Better yet, we’re expecting more than 600 first-time participants to join, and delve into 530+ technical sessions, workshops, and community building presentations.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be welcoming our community back to Redmond and Bellevue for the MVP Global Summit! The Summit has always been a unique opportunity for our entire global community to connect, learn and inspire each other,” said Community & Advocacy Programs Director, Patrick Malone.

“This year, however, is even more extraordinary. We're commemorating 25 years of the MVP Program by looking back at how far we've come and creating more awesome memories for the future."

In addition to technical sessions, the Summit offers attendees and PGs a variety of networking opportunities to expand global and local community connections. The Regional Meet-Ups and the Attendee Celebration are designed to increase conversation and idea sharing to drive impact in local communities. There's also the Product Group Happy Hourswhich are the ideal setting for MVPs to establish relationships with Microsoft Product Managers, engineers and Summit speakers by sharing ideas, and exchanging solutions.

But hey, we know you may want to see some sites too! Exploring Microsoft headquarters, Seattle and Bellevue together - and making those lasting connections - is what the Summit is all about.

That’s why we’ve created this city guide Seattle and Bellevue, to make sure you’re in-the-know about the hottest restaurants, live-music venues, landmarks, and parks in the area. And remember: bring your umbrella. While it might be sunny spring-break in other parts of the U.S., it's calling for a bit of rain and a high of 48°F (9°C) next week.

Between garnering new technical knowledge and connecting with our wonderful community, the 2018 MVP Global Summit is going to be epic! Are you attending? If so, share your excitement and journey to Summit on Twitter using the hashtags #MVPSummit and #MVPBuzz.
