The WWE 2K cover reveal day is always huge for us, but today’s announcement is particularly special. We scored one of the most talented and dynamic WWE Superstars working today. On top of that, he’s one of the best video game players on the WWE roster.
The WWE 2K19 cover Superstar is none other than “The Phenomenal One,” AJ Styles. This nearly 20-year veteran is respected and admired by fans and colleagues alike as one of the best to ever step in the ring. He’s the current WWE Champion, having just defended his title at Sunday’s WWE Money in the Bank event. We’re excited to work with him through the release of the game and beyond for special activities we have planned.
The Standard Edition of WWE 2K19 releases on October 9, 2018. Players who opt for the WWE 2K19 Deluxe and Collector’s Editions gain early access four days ahead of time on October 5, 2018.
The WWE 2K19 Deluxe Edition includes a copy of the game, the WWE 2K19 Season Pass, the WWE 2K19 digital pre-order bonus, and the WWE 2K19 Collector’s Edition digital content. Further details on all of this will roll out this summer.
The WWE 2K19 Collector’s Edition has a special theme this year that we can’t wait to reveal down the road. For now, we can confirm fans will get a copy of the WWE 2K19 Deluxe Edition and exclusive and rare physical collectibles.
