September marks Yammer’s official 10 year anniversary, and we are ready to bring the celebration to Ignite 2018!

 

We know that there are great Microsoft sessions happening all week long in Orlando. Whether you’re new to Yammer or you’ve been using Yammer for years, there’s tons of great sessions and speakers not to be missed! Here are some of the top sessions to guide your week and create the ultimate Yammer at Ignite 2018 experience.

 

  1. Get an overview of what’s to come and where we’ve been. During the session BRK2094 – The Future of Yammer: Vision and Roadmap, Yammer's product leadership team including Murali Sitaram - GM Yammer + O365 Groups, Pradeep GanapathyRaj - Group Product Manager and Steve Nguyen - Product Evangelist will share the latest on Yammer, including our vision for the future of Yammer and innovation coming soon. In this must-attend session, learn about key customer solution areas we are focusing on, as well as how we're building a social layer for Office 365.
  2. Find solutions to help engage and empower employees across boundaries. Dan Holme and Naomi Moneypenny from Microsoft 365 Product Marketing bring their product knowledge to life in this session, BRK2101 - Drive employee engagement with Yammer, SharePoint & Stream. Learn how SharePoint, Yammer and Stream work together to empower leaders to connect with their organizations, communicators to keep people informed, and people across the organization to engage with each other, share learning and best practices to improve employee experience.
  3. Curious about how Microsoft is investing in integration between Yammer and the rest of the Office 365 suite? Join us in BRK3219 - Evolution of Yammer in an Office 365 world with Yammer Product Managers, Fernando Martinez and John Bacus, as they share how you can take advantage of built-in integrations today and how to prepare for the Yammer of tomorrow. They'll dive deep into how Yammer is innovating as part of Office 365, and provide insight on what customers need to do to get the most value.
  4. Build an all-star strategy for setting up your Yammer network. Listen to Yammer Product Managers, Luc Feuvrier-Danziger and Taylor Burfield, and Senior Design Researcher, Emma Beede as they uncover the art and science of setting up your network for success during THR2226 - Top ways to set up a thriving Yammer network. From launch to ongoing usage, they’ll share the do’s and don’t’s you’ll want to learn from, in order to enhance your company’s experience with Yammer.
  5. Your hottest security and governance questions answered from a Yammer security engineer and Office 365 MVP. You have questions about Yammer security and governance, and we have answers. Hear from Dante Avery, Security Engineer Manager for Yammer and Martina Grom, an MVP for Office 365 with many years of experience as they share what they know in BRK3275 - Successful and secure management of your Yammer network in a GDPR world. They’ll walk through best practices about Yammer network management, how to secure Yammer networks, what security Yammer provides, and how to be GDPR compliant with Yammer.
  6. Learn how to build robust communities using Yammer and SharePoint. Does your organization use SharePoint and Yammer together for communities? Dave Cohen and Ron Blandford will share an inside look on how SharePoint and Yammer bring together content and conversations to support your communities. Listen in on BRK2095 - New in Microsoft 365: Leadership engagement featuring live events to learn about the latest and greatest from the Microsoft 365 product marketing team - Christina Torok, Naomi Moneypenny and Dan Holme. You’ll understand how technology can help you accelerate your organization's cultural transformation by building an ongoing, two-way connection between leadership and employees using the latest innovation in Microsoft 365.

The entire week is also full of excellent sessions presented by Yammer MVPs and Yammer Adoption Specialists, as well as all-star customers sharing their insights for success, best practices and lessons learned. This is a great opportunity to meet customers – including Kimberly-Clark, Schneider Electric, UNICEF, and Syngenta - similar to you and to ask questions to find out how other companies are using Yammer.

And we are thrilled to be celebrating 10 Years of Yammer with our annual Ignite happy hour on Tuesday, September 25th​ from 6:30-9:30 PM EST​ at Itta Bena, which is just a short walk from the Orange County Convention Center. Entrance will be limited to the first 200 attendees. Please bring your badge for admittance.

 

For those unable to attend Ignite 2018 in person, please note that all sessions will be available to view on-demand and via live stream! Log into https://myignite.techcommunity.microsoft.com/ and add any session to your schedule to tune in live. Or watch the sessions afterward, recorded sessions will be available Tech Community members approximately 24 hours after the session is complete.
