Microsoft is preparing an update to address recent time zone data changes in Turkey, Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Fiji. Details are as below:

  • Turkey will end DST two weeks later than normal. Clocks will turn back one hour from 04:00 to 03:00 on Sunday, November 8, 2015.

  • Democratic People's Republic of Korea has implemented its own time zone with UTC +8:30.

  • DST in Fiji will start on Sunday, November 1, 2015 for an eleven-week period. Clocks will move forward by an hour at 02:00 to 03:00 on November 1, 2015 and move back one hour from 03:00 to 02:00 on Sunday, January 17, 2016.

Microsoft is planning to release this update on Hotfix server for Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 on October 20, 2015.
