Microsoft is aware of the upcoming time zone change for the Kingdom of Morocco during Ramadan.

  • DST ends on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 3:00 am. Clocks will move back by an hour.
  • DST starts on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at 2:00 am. Clocks will move forward by an hour.

Our official policy statement can be found at http://microsoft.com/time .

Though we plan to release a data update, there is insufficient lead time before this change goes into effect. To assist customers, we are offering the following interim guidance as a temporary workaround until such an update can be properly created, tested, distributed, and installed.

Note: Windows 10 version 1803 and above are not affected by these time zone changes.

Interim Guidance:

Until an update is made available, we recommend customers temporarily set their time zone to “(UTC) Universal Coordinated Time” during Ramadan.

Selecting this time zone will reflect the correct current local time. Events that have occurred it the past before Ramadan, will not show correctly. We recommend returning to “(UTC+01:00) Casablanca” after the update.
