Last week while onsite at a customer location the subject of inviting people, not adding, them to a Microsoft Team came up. The customer had heard that with the use of a code you could send out an email with a code that would allow users to join a private Team if they elected to. The process of setting this up is easy and well documented at “Create a link or a code for joining a team.”
In this “Show Me How” video I demonstrate, straight from the online documentation, how to get a link or code to share with other internal users. It is important to note that as of this writing this process is only for internal users, not external parties you may wish to add as guests.
