MSIX Packaging Tool 1.2019.701.0
We are now live with the July release of the MSIX Packaging Tool.
The July 2019 release includes a very popular customer ask to support apps that require restarts. In addition we added another popular request to specify signing certification information as a global setting, so you don't have to keep entering it every conversion. We are also setting the minimum version for converted apps to 1709 when you turn off enforce store versioning requirements, so no more editing the manifest. :)
The new update continues to incorporate other reliability improvements directly from our enterprise customers, the tech community, and the Feedback Hub app.
For folks wanting to create a new Quick Create VM, that is coming shortly. Until then just check for updates in the store app.
