Migrate SLES S/4HANA ASCS instance from NFS to ANF in Azure

To ensure the high availability of your mission critical SAP systems running in Azure, you have configured the NFS shares to achieve the high availability for your ASCS layer.

 

With the new SaaS offering of Azure NetApp Files in Azure,  you can take advantage of the ANF to simplify the high availability architecture.

 

This document illustrates the technical details to migrate your SAP ASCS Application layer from an NFS to an ANF based storage. We will walk you thru the steps with the sample migration scenario.

 

Please note, this is for ASCS layer (running on SLES) migration only and NOT for the database layer.
