Within the Microsoft Device Management admin center, we are introducing a new node in the first level of navigation called Endpoint Security.   The Endpoint Security node further simplifies the management experience by grouping together all the different capabilities that IT and Security admins use to protect their devices in an easy to find manner.

Within this node admins can remain productive without having to switch between nodes and different administration centers by grouping the following capabilities:

  • All Devices:  Shows a list of the enrolled devices you manage.   Select any device to view additional details about that device, including hardware details, installed apps, its compliance policy status, and more.
  • Security Baselines: Pre-configured group of settings that help you apply known group of settings and default values that are recommended by Microsoft.
  • Security Tasks: Take advantage of Microsoft Defender ATPs Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) and use Intune to remediate endpoint weaknesses.
  • Device Compliance:  Policies that define the rules and settings that users and devices must meet to be compliant.
  • Conditional Access:  Policies that allow you to control the devices and apps that are allowed to connect to your company resources.
  • Microsoft Defender ATP: Integrated Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) to help prevent security breaches.

Note: These settings will continue to be accessible from other applicable nodes such as devices, and the current configured state will be the same no matter where you access and enable these capabilities.
