This post has been republished via RSS; it originally appeared at: Microsoft SharePoint Blog articles.

Configure and extend – that’s the productivity metaOS mantra of Microsoft Teams as a platform. And it echoes through every bot, tab and connector you can dream up and build for your team.

In this episode, Chris and I uncover the power and capabilities of Microsoft teams as a platform. We chat with two experts inside and outside of Microsoft. First, we hear about the design and strategy of how to extend Teams at the scale of the worldwide Microsoft 365 customer base from Bill Bliss, platform architect for Microsoft Teams engineering. We then turn to the real-world approach of one of our strong Microsoft MVP developers in this space, Wictor Wilén (Global innovation lead, Avanade). Wictor shares how he develops teamwork solutions for his company and their vast customer base. You’ll hear all about bots, tabs and connectors – the basis of the what and how to approach extending the Microsoft Teams platform offering.
