Several of our customers have been waiting for Microsoft Defender ATP capabilities on mobile. We’re almost there for Android, and you may have seen Microsoft Defender ATP settings available in Android compliance policies within the management console. The Microsoft Defender ATP app is currently in preview, but will be available soon in the Google Play store by mid-May. If you can’t wait to start looking into this feature, customers can get onto the app preview by sending an email to mdatpmobile@microsoft.com.

To complete the scenario, you need to make sure you have completed the proper connection between Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Microsoft Defender ATP. This does require an EMS E3 and Windows E5 (or Microsoft 365 Enterprise E5) license. To learn more, see the documentation here - Enforce compliance for Microsoft Defender ATP with Conditional Access in Intune.
