Introducing the 2019 Imagine Cup Asia Regional Final Judges

This post has been republished via RSS; it originally appeared at: Student Developer Blog articles.

Our 2019 Imagine Cup journey kicked off a few weeks ago with the announcement of the 12 Regional Finalists advancing to the Asia Regional Final in February to compete for over USD20,000 and spot in the World Championship.

Student developer teams will travel to Sydney, Australia and present a live demo of their projects in front of a panel of four expert judges. Coming from varied backgrounds in tech, industry, and research, judges’ professional experience will allow them to evaluate if a team’s solution uses innovative technology, is comprehensive, marketable, and presents an original idea built on Azure.

Judges will review each team’s project pitch and ultimately decide who will move forward to the 2019 World Championship this May for a chance to win USD100,000 plus a mentoring session with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. Follow the action as our regional finalists head to Sydney to compete!
