On September 26th I shared details announcing Desktop App Assure, a new service from Microsoft FastTrack that makes our application compatibility promise real. For customers moving to a modern desktop our promise is simple:
Announcing global availability of Desktop App Assure
Today I am pleased to announce the global availability of our service. Desktop App Assure is available now for eligible customers in all time zones supporting 10 languages: English, Japanese, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), German, Spanish, Korean, French, Portuguese (BR) and Italian.
Standing by our promise
We’ve worked with hundreds of customers since our launch and have learned a great deal about the most common issues which has helped us keep our compatibility promise. For those customers who have reached out to our team for assistance, only 0.1 percent of their applications have experienced compatibility issues. That said, Microsoft is grounded in the promise of “no app left behind”, which means we are fully committed to ensuring your business-critical apps work on Windows 10 and with Office 365 ProPlus. Our engineers are on standby to find solutions for your applications – even when that requires changes to Microsoft’s products. I highly encourage you to leverage this service and share feedback about your experience so that we can continue to improve the offer and Microsoft’s products.
