We hope you had as much fun at Microsoft Ignite 2019 as we did! Thank you to everyone who joined us for keynotes, breakout and theater sessions, and conversations on the expo floor. We announced many new Microsoft Teams functionalities and want to make sure you have everything you need to know in one location.

So, what’s new with Microsoft Teams?!
We announced new capabilities: Private channels, multiwindow meetings and chats, Tasks in Teams, new integrations between Teams and other Microsoft 365 apps like Outlook and Yammer – just to name a few, as well as firstline and healthcare industry updates! Check out our “What’s New” blog to learn about everything we announced.

To see these new features in action, we have a 15-minute Teams tutorial where we demo all of our new end-user features on our Microsoft Mechanics show with Jeremy Chapman.

Any new IT admin capabilities?!
Of course! We have great new features for IT Admins, such as policy packages, advisor for Teams, and managed meeting rooms. For all new capabilities, please read the “What’s New” blog and stay up-to-date with our new IT Admin Mechanics series.

We did a Microsoft Mechanics show at Ignite catered to all the new admin capabilities, so you will not want to miss this one!

How about the specifics on meetings, calling, and devices?!
We announced a partnership with Cisco to simplify the interoperability between Microsoft Teams Rooms and Phone System with Cisco Webex Room devices and IP voice gateways respectively. Learn more about the partnership. We have also enhanced calling experiences which includes Dynamic Emergency calling, reverse number lookup, and integrating Phone System administration right within the Teams admin center. Read about all of the new calling announcements. We also introduced Microsoft 365 Business Voice in Canada and the UK, which is a cloud-based phone system for businesses with up to 300 users that allows you to make and receive calls from any phone number. We also announced several new Microsoft Teams phones which are now available from our hardware partners.

To make it easy, we have also pulled together a list of all the on-demand meetings, calling, and devices sessions for you to watch!
