Experiencing Data Latency Issue in Azure portal for Log Search Alerts – 12/04 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 12/04, 13:05 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 12/04, 08:20 UTC and that during the 4 hours 45 minutes that it took to resolve the issue, customers would had experienced delay in receiving the Log Search Alert notifications for the resources hosted in the Central Canada region.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our dependent service. 
  • Incident Timeline: 4 Hours & 45 minutes - 12/04, 08:20 UTC through 12/04, 13:05 UTC
We understand that customers rely on Log Search Alerts as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.

We are aware of issues within Log Search Alerts and are actively investigating. Some customers may not receive, or experience delays in receiving Log Search Alerts notifications for resources hosted in Canada Central region..
