As your projects grow, it becomes more important to be able to quickly find whichever task you need right now. You now have more granular control of task filtering in Project for the Web. Tasks in Grid, Board, and Timeline view can now be filtered by:

  • Keyword
  • Finish Date (new)
  • Progress
  • Bucket (new)
  • Assigned to (new)

To filter your tasks, simply press the Filters button on the top right within a project in any view, and select filters you'd like to apply in the Filter Tasks pane:

You can use a combination of filters across filter groups to narrow down your tasks. For example, if you select the Late filter from the Finish Date filter group, and Not Started and In Progress from the Progress filter group, only tasks that haven’t started or are in progress, and are late will be shown.
