When the Public Preview of SharePoint Server Subscription Edition was released back in July, we also released a preview version of SharePointDsc that supported SPSE.
Now that SharePoint Server Subscription Edition was announced at Ignite this week, we are also planning to release a final version of SharePointDsc that supports the new evolution of SharePoint. That is why we just published the work we have been doing in our GitHub repository: A v5.0 branch that contains a beta version of the module which includes support for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, which you can find here!
We still have some things to implement and update, but the idea is to release the final 5.0 version soon. In the meantime: Please go ahead and test this new version and if you run into any problems, please create an issue in the issue list so we can fix it before releasing the final version! Much appreciated!
