Thank you everybody (200+) for being part of this community call today.  Awesome to see everyone in the house.

Demos delivered in this session

  • Introduction to Embedded Search Box (ESB) – with few lines of code, add Microsoft search box to any intranet site/page for easy and secure access to internal information. Merges web and work experiences. Uses familiar Bing UX to call Microsoft search and catalog behind scenes. Does not use the Bing Search Engine. Pulls people, file, conversations, PowerBI results and more. No cost with E3+ and Govt Cloud licensing.

  • Microsoft Learn Module - Extend Microsoft Viva Connections with Adaptive Card Extensions – use Viva Connections to communicate important announcements to employees. Designate a home site and create announcements list on SharePoint. Demo shows creating/scaffolding project, configuring in VS Code how important announcements are surfaced, testing card functionality in localhost, packaging and installing card in App Catalog, deploying card to tenant, to site and adding card to dashboard. Develop one card used in both desktop and mobile.

Thank you for your work. Samples are often showcased in Demos.
