When you joined the Student Ambassador community as an undergraduate in , did you have specific goals you wanted to reach, such as developing a particular skill or quality?

My first objective was to learn the range of technologies and services offered by Microsoft for students and make the most of them in my school projects. Because of this, I managed to create innovative projects and I had the opportunity to share with the academic community of Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria de Ingenieria y Ciencias Sociales y Administrativas (UPIICSA).

I have also always been passionate about sharing and acquiring knowledge and have had the opportunity to attend, organize, and teach events on various technologies and take on roles that have strengthened my technological and personal skills, such as public speaking.

What are the accomplishments that you’re proudest of and why?

The first achievement was to have been selected to belong to this great community, which allowed me to put into practice the knowledge acquired through high-impact academic events for UPIICSA, such as the of Technologists, Entrepreneurs and Partners, where national and international speakers from shared their knowledge and experiences with my colleagues about the various career paths taught on campus.

What are you doing now that you’ve graduated?

I currently work as a technical consultant at ORACLE Mexico and am a university professor at the National Polytechnic Institute. Every day I continue to prepare myself with various courses and certifications that grow my professional career.

If you could redo your time as a Student Ambassador, is there anything you would have done differently?
I would m
otivate more of my peers to the program for the great achievements, experiences and knowledge they can obtain.

If you were to describe the community to a student who is interested in joining, what would you say to convince them to join?
It is a community made up of students very committed to growing, learning, and sharing everything they know, where you will have the opportunity to develop all those skills that companies are requiring in an increasingly challenging world.

What advice would you give to new Student Ambassadors?
Make the most of all the opportunities offered, interact with the community in search of acquiring and exchanging knowledge, and put into practice everything you learn.

Do you have a motto in life, a guiding principle that drives you?
The phrase that inspires me is "challenges make life interesting and overcoming them makes it meaningful" by Joshua J. Marino.

What is one random fact few people know about you?
One of my favorite hobbies is attending the theatre, especially musicals, as it allows me to connect with their inspiring stories.

Good luck to you in all your endeavors, Francisco!
