SQL Server 2022 brings more security to the database rated as least vulnerable over the last ten years with always encrypted enhancements and SQL Ledger, an immutable ledger to track evidence of tampering. Additional Azure-enabled features including Microsoft Defender for Cloud Integration, Microsoft Purview, and Azure Active Directory authentication add even more layers of protection and access control.
