Azure Monitor Logs now supports Availability Zones in Canada Central, France Central and Japan East

Azure Availability Zones (AZ) provide protection from datacenter failures by using in-region redundancy between datacenters in separate zones, each with its own independent infrastructure. If a zone is impacted by an outage, another zone will be used instead, automatically. Availability Zone support in Canada Central, France Central and Japan East makes the service processes in these regions more resilient to datacenter outages, without requiring user intervention or extra charges. To ensure you also keep your data safe and available in the face of a such outage, link your workspace to a dedicated cluster that uses Availability Zones (now enabled by default in regions that support AZ).
