Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure portal for Log Analytics – 06/01 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 6/01, 22:00 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 6/01, 21:40 UTC and that duration customer using Azure Log Analytics may have experienced issues accessing data or missed/delayed alerts.

  • Root Cause: The issue was caused by underlying backend service had a degraded performance due to sudden Spike in Ingestion data.
  • Incident Timeline: 6/01, 21:40 UTC through 6/01, 22:00 UTC.

We understand that customers rely on Azure Log Analytics as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
