This holiday, the new Xbox One S is the only console with 4K Blu-ray, 4K video streaming, and High Dynamic Range color support. With HDR color support on your Xbox One S, your TV can display deeper colors and richer contrast, meaning the picture will appear more vibrant and realistic than on a regular HDTV.
Experience richer, more luminous colors in games like Gears of War 4 and Forza Horizon 3. With a higher contrast ratio between lights and darks, High Dynamic Range technology brings out the true visual depth of your games and 4k entertainment.
With a compatible display, Xbox One S owners can already enjoy HDR gaming with titles including Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4, NBA 2K17, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, The Elder Scrolls Online, and World of Tanks. In the coming weeks and months, we’ll be adding more HDR supported titles to the list, including games like ReCore, Resident Evil 7, and Final Fantasy XV.
The Windows 10 Creator’s Update will also deliver the foundational technology for HDR hardware and software support on Windows 10 PCs, and we look forward to enabling HDR experiences as supporting hardware and software arrives in 2017.
