Experiencing Alerting failure for Azure Alerts – 07/27 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 07/27, 07:09 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 07/26, 23:45 UTC and that during the 7 Hours & 24 minutes that it took to resolve the issue. Some customers using Azure Monitor may have experienced missed or delayed alert notifications globally.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue with one of the dependent services.
  • Incident Timeline: 7 Hours & 24 minutes - 07/26, 23:45 UTC through 07/27, 07:09 UTC
We understand that customers rely on Azure Monitor Alerts as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.

We are aware of issues within Azure Monitor Alerts and are actively investigating. Some customers using Azure Monitor may experience missed or delayed alert notifications globally.
  • Work Around: Alerts are still available in the Azure portal, please refresh it to view the alerts.
