Experiencing Data Latency for Log Analytics – 03/30 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 03/29, 
21:20 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 14:54 UTC and that during the 6 hours that it took to resolve the issue, customers using Log Analytics may have experienced delays in various data reports, query issues, alerting failures.

  • Root Cause: The failure was due to backend dependencies.

  • Incident Timeline: 6 Hours - 03/29, 14:54 UTC through 03/29, 21:20 UTC

We understand that customers rely on Azure Log Analytics as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
