We’re excited to announce a major refresh to our Security documentation page on Microsoft Learn. The page now serves as our Security documentation hub. Learners can use it as their jumping-off point for finding all Security technical skilling content across Microsoft, with more streamlined sections and content for easy discovery.

The addition of a secondary menu bar helps learners easily navigate to relevant landing pages both inside and outside of Microsoft Learn, including product-specific content (such as the new training pages for Microsoft Defender, Entra, and Purview), trainings, architecture resources, blogs, videos, events, and more.

Addition of resources by Security roles and career paths

The page now also includes a section with learning resources by role—and we have expanded our role-based content to provide career paths for:

Zero Trust and scenario-based sections

The Zero Trust security model is integral to building a comprehensive and strong security posture. The Security documentation hub includes a dedicated section pointing to content that will help learners understand what Zero Trust is and the key considerations for adopting a Zero Trust architecture.

Lastly, we know that each organization faces unique challenges and needs depending on where they are in their security journey. The Security documentation hub has sections that address common security scenarios, with supporting technical skilling content for every phase, from fundamentals to continued learning for:

  • Defending against threats by rapidly detecting, responding, and recovering from attacks (Modernize Security Operations)
  • Configuring and managing authentication and authorization of identities for users, devices, resources, and applications (Secure access and identities)
  • Protecting data and safeguarding sensitive information across platforms, applications, and clouds (protect and govern data)

Visit the Security documentation hub today and share with anyone who wants to explore the full range of technical training, documentation, and learning opportunities that Microsoft provides.
