What is your role and title? What are your responsibilities associated with your position?

I am a Senior Presales Architect with KPMG UK Limited. My primary responsibilities involve assisting clients in their digital transformation journey by providing solutions to their business needs.

Can you provide some insights into your day-to-day activities and what a typical day in your role looks like?

My day typically starts with roller coaster as I’m involved in multiple engagements which can be as below:

  • Discussion with clients like What capability does Dynamics 365 platform offer in terms of integration?
  • Working on new deals / engagements
  • Delivery the ongoing project
  • Assisting team on architecting solutions for customer problems.

Irrespective of different roles which I juggle around, the next day always brings me new challenges.

What motivates and inspires you to be an active member of the Aviators/Microsoft community?

The technical community / forums provide insights in understanding the bigger picture of different technology stack which can make a customer journey seamless. Technology discussions have become more accessible to the public, it presents us with many opportunities to use it in advancing our lives.

My spouse (Anitha Eswaran) and sons (Kaarthik and Kaushik) have always encouraged me to go an extra mile to give back to the future which has enabled me to grow all these years.

Looking back, what advice do you wish you would have been told earlier on that you would give to individuals looking to become involved in STEM/technology?

In today’s world the resources are abundant and it’s only fitting to say a world would become a better place when ideas or knowledge are shared that enables us to provide solutions for customer problems.

Imagine you had a magic wand that could create a feature in Logic Apps. What would this feature be and why?

I would definitely use the magic wand to sell Azure Logic Apps as a preferred "Platform as a service solution" for Dynamics 365 implementations. One of key features which I’m personally interested in is splitting of large files as we have a limitation on file size (i.e., 25 MB) as this would work wonders on Dynamics 365 Finance integration scenarios where the data processing volume is more than the specified limit.

What are some of the most important lessons you’ve learned throughout your career that surprised you?

I had the privilege to work on some great customer stories and one of the golden rules which I have learnt as an Architect is never assume things and always listen and understand customer problems rather than jumping in conclusion
