Introducing the all-new Surface Laptop, 13-inch: A Copilot+ PC designed for the way you work and live

Available starting May 20, 2025, starting at $899 The Surface Laptop, 13-inch is our thinnest and lightest Surface Laptop yet — crafted for portability, built for performance and enhanced with the power of AI. The new Surface Laptop is smaller than a standard notebook, making it effortless to slip into your bag and take anywhere. It features a premium anodized aluminum chassis and comes in three stunning colors[ii]: Ocean, Violet and Platinum. To complete the look, you can pair your device with the Surface Arc Mouse, our most beloved and best-selling mouse, which is now available in matching Ocean and Violet[iii]. Powered by the Snapdragon X Plus processor including an integrated 45 TOPS (trillion operations per second) NPU, the new Surface Laptop is 50% faster than Surface Laptop 5[iv] and outpaces the MacBook Air M3[v]. Available starting May 20, 2025, starting at $799 The all-new Surface Pro maintains the iconic versatility of the 2-in-1 form factor, providing the functionality of a laptop and the portability of a tablet, with the help of its built-in adjustable kickstand and detachable keyboard. Surface Slim Pen now magnetically attaches to the back of the tablet for charging and secure storage, ready for you when you need it. The new Surface Pro is built with creativity in mind, allowing you to type, write and draw, all on one device. Also powered by the Snapdragon X Plus processor with an integrated and powerful 45 TOPS NPU, this new Surface Pro is fast and smooth with all-day battery life, delivered in a 1.5 pound package[xi] that can fit in your small bag. The reimagined Surface Pro 12-inch Keyboard transforms your Surface Pro into a laptop. The new keyboard attaches easily and lies flat for a grounded and quiet typing experience. It features a smooth-matte palm rest for comfort and durability, a full-size backlit keyset and customizable precision touchpad with adaptive touch mode. The new keyboard now folds back completely flat against the Surface Pro, so you can sketch or write comfortably. With dedicated keys like the Copilot key and lock key, you have all the functions you need, right at your fingertips. The Surface Pro 12-inch Keyboard is available in three beautiful new colors to complement your Pro: Slate, Ocean and Violet. 	Recall (preview) is an opt-in experience that transforms how you search for and rediscover content on your PC. Now you can retrace your steps in seconds to quickly and securely find and get back to an app, website, image or document.
	You can describe in your own words what you are looking for, and improved Windows search will comb through images and documents to find it for you, whether you’re in File Explorer, the Windows Search box or Settings.
	With Click to Do (preview), you can identify text and images on your screen and take actions that take advantage of local and web-based AI models to be more productive while staying in your flow.

The new Pro and Laptop are also an investment in the future of Copilot+ PC experiences, as we continue to roll out the AI tools you need. The following features will first be available to Windows Insiders before expanding more broadly:

	The new agent in Settings — rolling out first to Windows Insiders — will allow you to describe an issue in your own words and get recommendations on how to address it. With your permission, it can even complete the actions on your behalf.
	You will be able to bring pro-grade lighting effects to pictures on your Copilot+ PC with Photos Relight.

We are continuously partnering with new ISVs and welcoming them to leverage our platform capabilities and the power of the NPU to benefit from ultra-low latency, higher performance and enhanced security with data staying on the device. We are excited that Moises Live by Music.AI sets a new standard in real-time audio separation and control, such as isolating the volumes of percussion, vocals and other elements, enhancing the music learning and practicing experience. The experience is 35 times faster on the Snapdragon X NPU compared to the CPU. Gigapixel AI by Topaz Labs revolutionizes the way you upscale images, allowing you to enlarge and enhance images up to 16 times their original size while maintaining high quality and detail. We are excited to announce that the new Surface Laptop, 13-inch, and Surface Pro, 12-inch will join the Surface for Business Copilot+ PC family, starting July 22 in select markets.
