If you’re a fan of Starfield or want to see what it’s all about, April 7 would be a good day to check it out. Starfield’s most expansive free update yet and a new story are both dropping on the same day. The Free Lanes update is a game-wide evolution, touching everything from space travel, late game content and progression to gear and ship customization, outpost building and countless improvements in between. Players can also dive into Terran Armada, a new story packed with repeatable content and tons to discover. Bethesda, the studio that created the game, has more details. Xbox Wire drills deeper into the Terran Armada, “a powerful new threat to the Settled Systems, aiming to unify everyone within it under a single authority. Bolstered by a robotic army and advanced technology, including powerful weapons and ships, they’re a force that need to be dealt with. The new faction can be challenged during Incursions, new combat events introduced alongside this storyline where players can hinder the Terran Armada’s progress and salvage new gear, including the valuable new resource, X-Tech.” Head over to Xbox Wire to read what Starfield Lead Creative Producer Tim Lamb shares about the Terran Armada and the Incursions that the group can initiate.
