Get the full power of Azure Databricks, in VS Code. From the IDE, developers can connect to Azure Databricks and their group’s workspace to collaborate with their team on files together. Users can connect to a cluster and run code there with the scale and performance of Azure Databricks, without leaving their IDE workflow.

Many developers spend most of their time in VS Code and want to develop all their data and AI apps there. With this extension, users stay in VS Code and get to take advantage of familiar features like autocomplete, code assistants, and their favorite extensions. There, they can use their team's existing software development best practices and integrations to build code the way that they are used to.

This is just the beginning. Databricks will continue to add to their VS Code extension. Databricks understands that developers want to build on Azure Databricks using the tool of their choice. Databricks is meeting developers where they are and wants all developers to have an amazing experience regardless of where they develop their applications.

To get started, download the extension in the VS Code Marketplace and connect it to your Azure Databricks account.
