Pets can make our lives complete. They’re furry friends to call our own. Members of the family. And as some say, an extension of who we are. In The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs expansion pack, a pet can be just like your Sims, in every way possible. A dream pet, of sorts. A personalized pooch or custom cat. But there are two sides to this story. What if you could make the pet of your Sims’ nightmares?
As a prelude, I can admit: there are plenty of people who love and enjoy clowns. But for the rest, clowns can be outright terrifying. And what better way to terrify yourself and your Sims than by using the paint tool to customize your crazy pet clown-style? As seen here, your Sims’ pup can be decked out in a custom fur creation. With this tool, you can use stencils and paint to make gorgeous colors, cool patterns, and creepy clown dogs. Hooray!
Along with the pets themselves, The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs comes with Brindleton Bay, a beautiful new world designed for your Sims who love hanging out with animals. But as you explore, your Sims may find themselves in a spooky pet cemetery. And what better way to freak out your Sims than to introduce ghost pets? Your Sims can befriend or even adopt these pet spirits and call them their own. Nope, not weird at all.
Customization is the heart and soul of The Sims 4, and, as you can see, this pack is no different. Cute and cuddly pets? Check. Oddball creepster pets? Yep. Stiches, patches, and purple-striped pets? Um, yes. Let your imagination run wild (and possibly make your Sims run for the hills) with The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs, which releases today on Xbox One. It’s so fun, it’s scary!
