Sharpen your skates and start your journey from the ponds to the pros with NHL 19, available now for Xbox One. Play on outdoor rinks surrounded by sprawling environments in multiple game modes, progress through the World of Chel to earn customization options for your character, and compete with (or against) 200 of the greatest hockey legends and alumni to ever play the game, powered by all-new Real Player Motion (RPM) technology this year. NHL 19 has arrived and we’re thrilled for Xbox One gamers to hit the ice!
By taking the game back to frozen outdoor ponds, hockey returns to its roots in NHL 19. Showcase your skills and creativity on surfaces and experience everything the World of Chel has to offer on these new stages with a new unified progression system that lets you create your ideal character for use across outdoor environments and multiple game modes.
In the all-new NHL Ones mode, you compete against two other players in a no limits, free-for-all game of shinny where skill and creativity reign supreme. With no rules and no stoppages, this all-out gauntlet will give you a great chance to flaunt your style as you look to become Daily Champion. The exciting Pro-Am mode gives players an offline series of three-on-three challenges, as your character is teamed up with NHL players from all eras to take on other superstar squads that feature legends of the game like Wayne Gretzky. Whether you’re online or offline, you can always play to earn rewards in NHL 19.
With all-new items for your character, including hoodies, jackets, parkas, knits, and more that have been tailor-made for hockey fans everywhere, expressing your personality is a breeze in NHL 19. Play the all-new game modes in the World of Chel and progress through the ranks to start earning more pieces of gear for your character. In addition to unique appearances, new playstyle classes and player traits also let you fine-tune the way you perform on the ice.
And thanks to RPM technology, you can turn on a dime and work your way out of tight corners with Explosive-Edge skating. Providing a higher level of control and responsiveness, RPM is going to amp up your hustle in all three zones. New collision physics tech combines with RPM to make jaw-dropping hits more life-like, varied, and satisfying. With these two systems working together, you’ll enjoy a more complete on-ice experience.
