After 7 weeks of competition between eight of the best EA SPORTS Madden NFL 17 Xbox gamers in the NFL, Aaron Donald emerged as the ultimate champion of the Xbox NFL Player Charity Challenge, winning $51,000 along with Microsoft products for the charity of his choice. Donald beat Doug Baldwin in the championship with a final score of 20 to 9, while NFL legend Deion Sanders called the game live on Twitch.
Tournament matches were hosted at select Microsoft Stores across the United States, and featured other NFL stars such as Von Miller, Greg Olsen, Patrick Peterson, Devin McCourty, Ryan Tannehill, and Matt Forte. Along with Aaron, one lucky fan who submitted picks throughout the tournament came away with a grand prize, winning a trip for two to Super Bowl LI in Houston.
Aaron competed in the tournament for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Funds from the donation will be used to grant the wishes of Los Angeles children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
