For many fans, part of what we’ve grown to love about the Halo universe – beyond the grand scale of combat and rich storyline – has been the series’ signature soundtrack. That legacy continues on in Halo Wars 2, and we’re kicking things off with an exclusive preview of the full soundtrack to help get you in the mood for battle!
Composed by Gordy Haab and Finishing Move (comprised of Brian Lee White and Brian Trifon), with guidance from Halo Wars 2 Audio Director Paul Lipson, the soundtrack aims to set a new benchmark for the Halo universe and for RTS experiences across all platforms. For a more in-depth look on the creation of the soundtrack, check out our composer Q&A with Gordy, Finishing Move and Paul.
The Halo Wars 2 Original Game Soundtrack is currently available for pre-order and will be available at your favorite local retail stores on Friday, Feb. 17 and available online Tuesday, Feb. 21 for a suggested MSRP of $17.99.
Don’t forget, for those who have pre-ordered Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition, you can jump back into the epic conflict starting this Friday, Feb. 17 thanks to four days early-access; it’s not too late to jump-start your Halo experience during this exclusive period!
