Help Make Xbox More Accessible with New Idea Drive

This post has been republished via RSS; it originally appeared at: Xbox Wire.

Following the introduction of the Xbox Adaptive Controller and in honor of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, the Xbox Insider Team wants to hear from you about how Xbox can create even more inclusive products and services. Towards that goal, we’ll be running an Idea Drive on the new Xbox Ideas site dedicated to ease of access across Xbox. Our hope is that the user-supported voting and ability to submit your suggestions through Xbox Ideas will allow for greater collaboration between Team Xbox and the community.

We’re doubling down on the commitment to building a more inclusive Xbox, and it’s our hope that you’re just as excited to participate. We’ll be running this Idea Drive through the end of June, and during that time, we’d encourage you to explore Xbox Ideas, submit your suggestions for ease of access, vote, and comment on the ideas you find most worthwhile.

Have ideas for new hardware and software that will make it easier for people with disabilities to enjoy the Xbox console and services? Want to highlight potential issues with apps and how they might be made easier to use? Let us know. We’re eager to learn more from you and to share that information as a team.

We’re also eager to hear your ideas about  the Xbox Insider Program, so don’t be shy in posting suggestions in the ongoing Xbox Insider Program Idea Drive. We’re dedicated to gathering your ideas, and we want to ensure you have the best tools possible for sharing them with us – both on your console and elsewhere. Tell us how we can improve the Xbox Insider Hub in ways that would make it more usable, more exciting and more relevant to you.

We look forward to receiving and exploring your feature requests via Xbox Ideas. Let’s build a more inclusive Xbox together! Also, if you have the time and are looking for a community to discuss your thoughts and ideas with, please visit the Xbox Forums. It’s a place for you to connect with other gamers and another way to give Xbox feedback on how we can make gaming more accessible for everyone.
