Sharing your videos in Microsoft Stream just got easier! You can share your videos with your colleagues through email or by embedding your videos on another site.
Check out the original idea on the Microsoft Stream community! The Microsoft Stream community allows you to interact with other community members, ask and answer questions on the forum and vote or submit ideas that you would like to see implemented in Microsoft Stream.
Simply select the “Share” button from either the video page or when finding videos through search or browse.
Share though email
Select the “Email” tab and simply add the list of users or AD security groups that you would like to share with, or type in an email address from your organization. Once you have selected the people you want to share with, select “Send and close” to share the video with them by email.
Embed your video
Select the “Embed” tab and set the properties you would like for the embedded video, including the size and if you would like the video to automatically start playing*. After selecting all of the desired properties, simply copy the embed code and paste it into your site. SharePoint and Sway are awesome places to embed your videos for sharing with members of your team. The best part is you don’t have to worry about permissions, as Microsoft Stream will make sure that only users who have been granted access to view the video will be able to see it, even if the video is embedded on an external site.
*Note that most mobile browsers block video playback from automatically playing even when autoplay is selected.
