Experiencing data gaps in Azure Portal for Platform metrics from Multi dimensional metrics in regions East US, Southeast Asia, Canada Central and Central India – 02/06 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal as of 02/06, 20:45 UTC and our logs show the incident started on 02/06, 18:00 UTC. Customers using alerts from public preview azure monitor may see incorrect triggers since platform metrics during the impact duration could not be persisted and  also the customers will not be able to view platform metrics in public preview azure monitor UX. However, they can view platform metrics via metrics explorer.
Note: Custom metrics was not impacted by this issue.
Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our internal services.

We are aware of issues within Application Insights and are actively investigating. All customers in regions East US, Southeast Asia, Canada Central and Central India will experience data gaps in Azure Portal for Platform metrics from MDM.
Next Update: Before 02/06 20:00 UTC
We are working hard to resolve this issue and apologize for any inconvenience.
