HLK Compatibility Program Playlist Update for May 16, 2017

The Windows Hardware Compatibility Program uses an official playlist to determine which devices meet the requirements for compatibility with Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server Software Defined (WSSD) program, and Azure Stack certification.

The HLK Compatibility Playlists 1607 (version 3) and 1703 (version 2) Compatibility Playlist have been updated and can be downloaded from the following location:

• http://aka.ms/hlkplaylist

Both updated playlists are optional for the next 90 days , after which they will be required, and the previous playlist will no longer be acceptable.



Update information for HLK Compatibility Playlist 1703 (version 2)

Removed:

• Camera Driver Test - Video Capture (Record) - Record 30 seconds of 480p Video from Capture pin to H264 file (Video Only)


• Camera Driver Test - Video Capture (Record) - Record 30 seconds of 720p Video from Capture pin to H264 file (Video Only)


• DF - PCI Root Port Surprise Remove Test (PCI devices only) (Reliability)

Update information for HLK Compatibility Playlist 1607 (version 3)

Added:

The Azure playlist has been merged with the official playlist for 1607. This playlist is now comprehensive for both Windows Client and Windows Server. Partners who previously used playlists made available on Microsoft Connect for the Windows Server Software Defined (WSSD) program or for Azure Stack certification should now use the official 1607 playlist.
