Experiencing Data Access and Data Latency issues for Log Analytics – 11/12 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 11/12, 21:00 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 11/12, 22:20 UTC and that during the 1 hour 20 minutes that it took to resolve the issue a subset of Log Analytics customers in West Europe region might have experienced data access issues and latency in log search alerts.

  • Root Cause: The failure was due to dependency in one of our back end services.
  • Incident Timeline: 1 Hours & 20 minutes - 11/12, 21:00 UTC through 11/12, 22:20 UTC.
We understand that customers rely on Azure Log Analytics as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
