Azure Logic Apps Integration with SAP

Azure Logic Apps is an Azure cloud service that helps you schedule, automate, and orchestrate tasks, business processes, and workflows when you need to integrate apps, data, systems, and services across enterprises or organizations.


When you have an SAP real estate running on Azure, you need a simple integration to transfer your data from/in-to the SAP systems. Logicapp is one of those integration solutions, which can be setup very quickly in a few simple steps.


Consider a case, you have a division in your organization, which performs the flight ticket booking for your employees. After the booking is done, the data (in form of an IDOC), needs to be transferred from the booking tool to the SAP system, for further processing like invoicing. In this document, we will illustrate the steps to connect Logicapp to an SAP system in Azure and post an IDOC for the flight booking. However, you can extend the same integration model to build complex solution requirements from your business.
