SSIS Projects for VS2019 version 3.3 (GA) is released

This post has been republished via RSS; it originally appeared at: New blog articles in Microsoft Tech Community.

Hi everyone,

We are pleased to announced that SSIS Projects for VS2019 version 3.3 is released! This is the general available (GA) version of this product. Now the "Preview" tag can be removed from this product.

It's a long journey since the first release in April, and we have got more than 142K downloads up to now. We want to say thank you to everyone who downloaded and installed this product, and especially to those who gave us valuable feedbacks, no matter positive or negative.

In this version, the biggest change is that we removed Power Query Source for SQL Server 2017 and Microsoft Oracle Connector for SQL Server 2019. Since this version, if you want to use these two components in this product, you must manually download and install them. However, there is a good news that now you can use Power Query Source on both SQL Server 2017 and 2019, in addition to Azure-SSIS Integration Runtime. Please download Power Query Source for SQL Server 2017 and 2019 from here, and Microsoft Oracle Connector for SQL Server 2019 from here.

Meanwhile, please go to the download page in VS marketplace for the entire release notes. And feel free to ask questions in Q&A page in case you hit any issues when using this product.

Thanks again for your patience and continued support for this product and SSIS! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
