We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 4/11, 03:05 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 4/11, 01:07 UTC and that during the 1 hour 52 minutes it took to resolve the issue, customers using Application Insights or Log Search Alerts in East US may have experienced data latency and misfired or delayed alerts.

- Root Cause: Engineers determined that a service leveraged by Application insights was experiencing a period of high latency, leading to ingestion issues for service requests.

We are aware of issues within Application Insights and Log Search Alerts and are actively investigating. Some customers in East US region may experience data latency, data loss or misfired alerts for resources in East US region.
