Experiencing Data Access issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 09/14 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 09/14, 08:42 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 09/14, 08:20 UTC and that during the 22 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some customers may have experienced intermittent data gaps and incorrect alert activation in West Europe region.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to issue with one of our dependent service.
  • Incident Timeline: 22 minutes - 09/14, 08:20 UTC through 09/14, 08:42 UTC
We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
