According to TechJury, email is responsible for around 94 percent of all malware—with 6.4 billion fake emails sent every day. It’s critical to be wary of emails, text messages, or chats from people you normally don’t correspond with.

 

How to stay vigilant against phishing attacks is this week's focus of Cybersecurity Awareness Month. In addition to providing guidance on how to help protect yourself from phishing, Microsoft is cosponsoring the Terranova Gone Phishing Tournament, a free annual event open to security and risk management leaders.
