A hybrid workplace creates more flexibility in how – and where – employees can work from. For IT and SecOps teams, this may mean evolving your information protection and governance in order to support greater flexibility without compromising on security. That’s why Microsoft has continued to invest in tooling and capabilities to help organizations manage the lifecycle of their content in Teams and across Microsoft 365 more efficiently.

Multi-Geo support for Teams, co-authoring in real-time on encrypted documents, extending retention capabilities to cover more surface area, enhancements to auto-labeling and information barriers – the latest product announcements and innovations assist organizations in continuing to drive collaboration across their workforce without having to sacrifice security or compliance. Data access governance insights and improved channel sites management in SharePoint are helping IT have a more simplified way to discover and manage Teams-related data. Microsoft remains committed to helping organizations enable secure, compliant collaboration by offering a broad portfolio of tooling to protect and govern sensitive data.
