Experiencing Data Access Issue for Log Analytics in North Europe Region – 01/12 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 01/12, 17:23 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 01/12, 16:40 UTC and that during the 43 minutes that it took to resolve the issue customers using Log Analytics or Azure Sentinel in North Europe may have experienced issues accessing data as well as missed or delayed alerts.

  • Root Cause: The failure was due to issues with one of our backend service.
  • Incident Timeline: 43 minutes - 01/12, 16:40 UTC through 01/12, 17:23 UTC
We understand that customers rely on Azure Log Analytics as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
